Forecast transfer from APO to non SAP system

Hi All,

     We have implemented SAP APO and want to transfer forecast from APO to non SAP system OMP (another planning tool). One solution that I can think of is to create a RFC between the two system and place data in the application server of APO from where the OMP would pull the data. However, since forecasting being a robust functionality of APO, I feel that there should be some standard ways wherein we can transfer data from APO to OMP/other non SAP system.

     Please let me know some pointers if you know the same.
